The DZM 20 CNC is a compact and easy to operate CNC controlled centering machine especially suited for super micro-optics and endoscopes. Clamping of the lenses using clamping bells or HD 12 runners.

- CNC-controlled centering machine for edge processing of spherical lenses, rods and plano optics
- Clamping of the lenses in bell clamping mode or plug centering mode (HD12)
- 3-axis version: 2 CNC axes (X-Z axis) for moving the cross slide with grinding wheel, 1 axis for center thickness measurement and compensation (clamping spindle)

Process characteristics
Grinding processes:
- Diameter of the lens with bevel on form centering with individually adjusted feeds and speeds
- Any angle or radius bevel possible with 90° or non-shaped tool
- Contour bevel possible by using the tool edge
- Chamfer with form wheels in oscillation mode
- Grinding of shoulders in plunge grinding mode
